Purchasing a PEI ATV Federation Membership Trail Permit Sticker, allows the holder of an Off Highway Vehicle the right to ride on all registered Island ATV Clubs Trail System. These OHV’s include Dirt bikes, ATV’s (Quads), Side by Sides (UTV) and Snowmobiles. Please check with your local club as some clubs do not allow Dirt bikes or Snowmobiles on their trail systems.
The PEIATVF Trail Permit Stickers are also honored on the NB ATV Federation of Clubs Trail System. Islanders cannot purchase NB Trail Permits anymore. Currently we are in discussion with NSATVF for future reciprocal agreements between PEI and NS.
The purchasing of a Federation Membership helps the local ATV club of your choice purchase new trail signs, build bridges and help cover the costs of clearing new trails. Additionally the Federation portion goes directly to covering the 5 million dollar ($5,000,000) insurance policy that we put on all out property owners land that our trails system runs through. The breakdown is below.
|Trail Permit Cost Breakdown|
|PEI ATV Federation Portion:||$20.00|
|Local PEI ATV Club Portion:||$23.48|
Below are the recognized PEI ATV Clubs that have or are working towards a fully signed, insured and clearly marked trail system. These are the only legal places to ride on PEI, so we ask all OHV users to support their local club and purchase a PEIATVF Trail Membership Permit.
